Cream of Mushroom Mac & Cheese
Just as fast as basic boxed mac & cheese, this version has a creamy mushroom flavor.Serves 3
- 1 box macaroni & cheese
- 1/2 c. condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 3 tbsp. milk
- Salt and pepper
- » Cook the macaroni in boiling, salted water until it reaches desired doneness.
» Drain macaroni, and then return to pot.» Add cream of mushroom soup and margarine to macaroni, and stir.» Stir milk and cheese sauce from package into macaroni, and combine thoroughly.» Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- VariationsYou can use different soups in this. Try cream of chicken, cream of celery, or cream of tomato.
